The Basilica Rosette Ring rises off the finger like the façade of a Gothic church: a crown of slender pinnacles framing a central lancet panel filled with rose-window tracery, its quatrefoil openings cut clean through hand-oxidized 925 sterling silver. Deep blackened recesses hold the shadow while the raised silver linework catches the light, exactly like stone tracery under stained glass. Because the crown sits tall above the knuckle, we recommend sizing up half a size if you like extra clearance.

Is this solid sterling silver, or plated?
Never plated: solid 925 sterling silver, oxidized rather than coated, so the finish is worked into the metal itself and won't wear off, chip, or fade the way plating does.

What sizes are available?
US sizes 4 to 13, made to order — just let us know your size at checkout.

Does the crown sit tall, or does it wear like a normal band?
It sits tall and dimensional rather than flush, more like a small crown than a plain band. If you wear rings snug or have larger knuckles, we recommend sizing up half a size for comfortable clearance.

Can I get it engraved?
Yes — message us before ordering with what you'd like engraved inside the band.

Is it made to order, and how long does it take to ship?
Yes, each ring is hand-carved and oxidized after you order, so please allow our standard production time before it ships.

How do I care for an oxidized silver ring?
Keep it dry, store it away from direct sunlight and other jewelry, and wipe it with a soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners, and polishing compounds, which can strip the oxidized finish.

Why does this cost more than a similar-looking stainless steel or plated ring?
Because it's cast and hand-finished in solid 925 sterling silver rather than a base-metal alloy skinned in plating. The oxidized shading is worked into the silver itself, not sprayed or coated on top, and each ring is made to order rather than pulled from a mass mold.
